When we are deeply connected to nature, the nourishment we gain is significant; our emphasis on materialism decreases, our emotional hunger is satisfied, and we discover what fulfills us on a deeper level.
Nature provides us with a deep sense of presence and support. When we feel whole, we operate from this enriched connection, promoting mutual care for the earth. Interacting with nature breaks down the isolated perception of self as separate from the earth, resulting in gratitude and reciprocity as natural reactions.
Our acquired self-understanding and ability to know and connect to the truth of who we are brings the life of aliveness and wholeness we yearn for.
Nature is a mirror that is affirming, clear and guiding.

At Hearth, we provide an opportunity to bring therapy sessions beyond the traditional office setting and into the calming embrace of nature.
Our practice understands the importance of connecting with nature as a way to reconnect with oneself. Through activities such as nature walks, mindfulness practices and joint attention on specific themes that emerge from the clients' internal world in natural settings, clients are supported to explore their thoughts and emotions in a peaceful and grounding environment.
Other than being outdoors, we also incorporate elements of the natural world into counseling sessions.
